Aero flies exclusively from private terminals to Aspen (ASE), Los Cabos (SJD), and Sun Valley (SUN) from Los Angeles (VNY). Aspen (ASE) and Los Cabos (SJD) are also serviced from Dallas (DAL).
For tickets purchased on or after June 22, 2023, the change and cancellation policy varies depending on the type of fare purchased.
• All change and cancellation fees are waived within 24 hours following ticket purchase.
• Failure to change or cancel within 60 minutes prior to departure will lead to forfeiture of the entire fare.
• Any remaining Aero credit amount will be kept on your account for 18 months to be used for future flights.
For Non-Refundable Fare: Any changes or cancellations are not permitted for Non-Refundable Fares. The value of a Non-Refundable reservation that is not used will be entirely forfeited. Promotion and discount codes can not be used to book Non-Refundable fares.
For Flexible Fare: Please note that if the date or routing of the reservation has previously been changed and you thereafter request to cancel, any refund will be received as credit on your Aero account (minus any cancellation fees) for 18 months to be used for future flights, regardless of when such cancellation occurs.
For Most Flexible Fare: There is no fee for any changes made to Most Flexible reservations for flights more than one (1) hour from the scheduled departure. You will receive 100% refund to the original form of payment for all cancellations made more than one (1) hour from the scheduled departure.

Included in the Aero fare at no additional cost: Two (2) checked luggage weighing up to 50lbs (23kg).
One (1) cabin item weighing up to 20lb (9kg), that must fit under the seat in front of you, and measure no more than 13x13x10in (33x33x25cm), which is the size of a small backpack, rather than a wheeled trolley bag, or rollaboard.
Please note:
- Our jets do not have overhead bins.
- On our ERJ135, personal items must fit underneath the seats, while on our Legacy 600, flight attendants will stow your personal item during takeoff and landing, returning it to you during the flight.
Guests under the age of 5 years old may bring two (2) items from the following list: fully collapsible stroller, car seat, booster seat, travel cot, baby back carrier. All these items will be securely kept in the hold. If the infant or child is booked in their own seat, the car seat may be brought onboard in addition to the two (2) items included in the fare (only on our ERJ 135 aircraft).
Mobility and assistive devices that cannot be carried in the cabin due to space limitations will be considered checked luggage in addition to the included luggage allowance, without charge, provided the guest is dependent upon such items.
Any additional items you wish to bring must be paid for, before the day of your flight. Please notify the Aero Concierge (concierge@aero.com / +1 323 745 2376), if you would like to purchase the following:
Additional hold items weighing up to 50lbs (23kg): additional cost of USD150 per item (space permitting).
Checked luggage weighing between 50lbs (23kg) and 70lbs (32kg) are considered heavy: they are subject to an additional cost of USD150 per item.
Single items above the weight of 70lbs (32kg) cannot be carried. If items of luggage above that weight are brought to the airport, you will be kindly asked to separate the contents into an additional bag provided by Aero, so that all checked items weigh less than 32kg (70lbs) each. Heavy or additional item fee will apply.
Sports equipment: additional cost of USD150, or USD300 depending on the item being additional and/or overweight, and all subject to comply with the individual restrictions listed in the Conditions of Carriage for that particular sports item. Note that sports items must be pre-approved before travel, and will be kept in the hold.
Well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome to fly on all Aero jets flying in the U.S. Small pets must be booked at the time of booking and can be included in your reservation directly on the website. Medium or large pets can be booked via our Concierge team.
Small cats or dogs weighing 20lb or less (inc. carrier) can travel in a carrier with a pet travel charge of $300. For medium or large pets over 20lb. you must purchase an additional full-price seat which can be done by contacting our Concierge team. There is no maximum weight limit for large pets however you must ensure they can remain in their seat for the duration of the flight.
Small pets weighing less than 20lbs (including the carrier), fit comfortably underneath the seat in front of you, and remain in an approved carrier for the duration of the flight. Carriers must measure less than 20”x12”x9” (L x W x H) and must weigh less than 20lbs total including the animal. Passengers are responsible for providing a carrier for their pet, and this carrier will count as a passenger’s carry-on bag. On the Legacy 600, pet carriers will be secured to aircraft seats. On the ERJ-135, pet carriers are not allowed on aircraft seats, unless a seat has been purchased for the pet. Please note that we are not able to carry pets in our cargo, and animals besides cats and dogs are not able to travel. Pets must be at least 4 months old, and be capable of not relieving themselves for the entire duration of the flight.
Each guest may only bring one pet on board (maximum two per household), and we are limited to a total of five pets per flight. Pets will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis until the limit is reached on board. Should the pet capacity be reached, this will be communicated on the website or by Concierge during booking. One passenger may not bring both a pet and an infant onboard without the assistance of a travel companion.
Guests traveling with under-seat pets cannot be seated in exit rows or bulkhead seats.
No charge will apply to registered service animals with proper documentation.
