The best places to stay in Miami
Art deco glamour meets theatrical flair at Faena Hotel Miami Beach, Alan Faena’s lavish reimagining of the storied 1947 Saxony Hotel. Designed in collaboration with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and costume designer Catherine Martin, the oceanfront property has a total of 169 guestrooms and suites, showcasing eclectic ruby reds and turquoise blues. Days unfold between the Tierra Santa Healing House spa and poolside cabanas before evenings at Los Fuegos, where Francis Mallmann grills up his signature open-fire Argentine cuisine. Just a short drive away, Casa Tua offers a more intimate escape: a Mediterranean villa-style hideaway known for four-poster canopied beds, a candlelit garden restaurant, and a members club that has long drawn Miami’s most stylish crowd.

The best places to eat and drink in Miami
Vibrant and ever-changing, Miami’s restaurant scene is a fusion of Caribbean, South American, and Asian fare. Michelin-starred El Cielo blends modern Colombian cuisine with a sensory-driven tasting menu, while Ariete whips up comforting dishes with a Cuban twist. In Mid-Beach, local favorite Ray’s Hometown Bar is celebrated for its unpretentious programming, with elevated bar food and seasonal pop-ups. At sunset, head to Sugar’s hand-carved Balinese bar for Asian-inspired cocktails, or sip from the largest selection of champagnes in Miami within the elegant Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club.

The best things to do in Miami
Effortlessly seductive and alive with energy, Miami’s legendary rhythm is composed of its tapestry of cultures and spirited history. Take in old-school Art Deco charm on Ocean Drive before laying a towel in front of turquoise Atlantic waters on South Beach. Art enthusiasts have no shortage of ground to cover, from the colorful murals at The Wynwood Walls to prominent museums such as The Institute of Contemporary Art and the De la Cruz Collection. Don’t leave without ordering mojitos on bustling Calle Ocho, exploring galleries and boutiques in the avant-garde Design District, and relaxing on the soft sand beaches of Biscayne Bay.
